Let's Celebrate Holi - Festival of Colors - NEW LOCATION & DATE

NOTE: NEW LOCATION, DATE AND TIME
Every spring, vibrant clouds of colored powder paint the streets of India as millions celebrate what is known as Holi – the Festival of Colors. This joyous Hindu festival explodes with revelry, marking the triumph of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and new beginnings. It’s a time for communities to come together and celebrate life.
So, we will gather at Navy Pier Beer Garden/ AON Ballroom and joyfully cover each other in colored powder. There will also be DJs, live music and dance performances throughout the afternoon, including Funkadesi, a popular Chicago band. (Here is the event schedule: Protected content
I have some powder left over from previous celebrations but if we run out there is some available for sale onsite. You may also purchase colored powder online or on Devon St. The celebration is from 1-5pm but you can join at any time. I will post a meeting spot upon arrival. Make sure to wear/bring appropriate clothing and sun glasses to protect your eyes.
