La negociación aims to address a current and recognizable reality – the context of criminal violence in which our country has been submerged in recent years – through a story that plays with the conventions of comedy and thriller. The title alludes to the double aspect of agreements that the leading couple must make, with the help of a professional negotiator: on the one hand, to set the amount of the ransom with their son's kidnappers; on the other, to reach an agreement among themselves, something that, since they began their divorce process years ago, they have never achieved.
