Very Madrid Tradition - Gigantes Y Cabezudos

Iām going to see the āGigantes y Cabezudosā de Madrid.
If you havenāt seen them before, Gigantes y Cabezudos is a very traditional Spanish/MadrileƱo spectacle: enormous colourful figures and funny big-headed characters parade through the streets, accompanied by dulzaina bands, dancing and lots of festive atmosphere.
Itās a great way to experience the castizo side of Madrid and one of those quirky local traditions that you might otherwise miss. The tradition has been part of Madridās festivities for decades.
