Thursday Night at the Movies - the Housemaid
One of our Book Club reads last year was the Housemaid by Freida McFadden , which we all enjoyed and was recommended by Irene.
As luck would have it the book has now been turned into a film ( Not to be confused with the Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood )
Starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried.
It begins with a young woman with a troubled past taking a housemaid’s job with a wealthy family. At first all is well but then things start to unravel and dark secrets start to emerge……
