Next Thursday we have the opportunity to see this masterpiece, for those who like a good story.
Kurosawa's cinema with its images, for the stories it tells and how it tells them, its poetry,... It is admired by Coppola, Scorsese, Spielberg and Luccas among many.

Rashômon awarded the Golden Lion in Venice:“Japan, 12th century. Under the doors of the ruined temple of Rashômon, a woodcutter, a Buddhist priest and a pilgrim take shelter from the torrential rain. The three discuss the trial of a bandit, accused of having killed a feudal lord and raped his wife. The details of the crime are narrated from the point of view of the bandit, the woman, the feudal lord, with the help of a medium and the woodcutter, the only witness of the events.”

The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. and we will meet at 7:15 p.m. at the cinema door. And it will be in original version with Spanish subtitles

After the movie we will have a colloquium with David Felipe Arranz, writer, film critic and film program collaborator.
