Dear Art Fellows - please be invited for an exclusive talk with the artist and and author of the picture "New York - City of Hope" -which is part of the art exhibition entitled "End of Nations".

"End of Nations" is a kaleidoscopic look at our present, a collaborative experience that reveals unexplored dimensions, which challenge our place in the political, social and environmental order. The former distillery is ready to receive new synergies and utopias of a new world of possibilities.

"New York - City of Hope" is an impressive piece of art which represents the vision of a cosmopolitan city where in the 20th century many immigrants were able to find refuge from the Nazi regime. These people significantly shaped the contemporary image of NYC and the author is making them present in the picture through authentic frottages of real names of immigrants engraved on plaques on Ellis Island.

At the same time the picture is a monument commemorating those Jewish fellow citizens from Berlin who did not manage to leave Nazi Germany on time and perished in the Nazi concentration camps. Their names appear in the picture in the reflections of the skyscrapers in the water, as if they would rise from the depths of the ocean to also find a place in the city of hope.

We will be discussing the stages in the creative process of this piece of art which is created with mixed techniques.

Looking forward to an exceptional experience and sharing this with you, yours
