German Romanticism: Celebrating A 250th Birthday
Caspar David Friedrich was a German Romantic landscape painter, generally considered the most important German artist of his generation. Here in Germany, he is being celebrated with large exhibitions in, a.o. Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg.
This exhibition will be popular, and it is necessary to book a time-slot ticket. Mine is for 10.15.
There is a small café in the museum gift shop where we can meet for a coffee after the visit, and/or agree to go somewhere else.
