Having A Drink at a Museum
Inside, there are cats you can love to your heart's content—they're all so adorable! The museum's collection features works by many renowned artists, both local and international. You must visit this lovingly run museum, dedicated to cats and filled with charming artworks showcasing their history and importance in Turkish culture!
The main museum building is currently undergoing extensive restoration work on an 18th-century Ottoman-era building located in Perşembe Pazarı. As a result, the museum's collection is temporarily on display in a Protected content studio in Galata. Cat Museum Istanbul reflects the love of its creative director, Fatih Dağlı, for the city and his passion for cats. The museum's mission is to one day host the world's largest collection of cat art in the city of cats and to donate half of the profits to benefit the city's stray animals.
