The legendary name of 20th-century war photography, Robert Capa, brings his striking images to the Protected content The exhibition, titled “The Truth is the Best Photo,” offers a glimpse into history through Capa's lens.

Born in Budapest in Protected content the son of a Jewish family under the name Andre Friedmann, Capa studied political science at the Deutsche Hochschule für Politik in Berlin. Forced to leave Germany due to the threat of the Nazi regime, Capa settled in Paris in Protected content .

Represented by Alliance Photo, the artist met journalist and photographer Gerda Taro. Together, they created the “famous” American photographer Robert Capa and began selling their prints under this name. On May 25, Protected content , while taking photographs for Life magazine in Thai-Binh, Vietnam, he stepped on a landmine and lost his life.

Capa, one of the four founders of the world-renowned Magnum photo agency, is a war photographer. He is one of the greatest photojournalists of all time.

The exhibition features Capa's iconic photographs, as well as a special selection of 37 photographs he took in Turkey in Protected content .
