WI - Limburg 45km 2 Days Infantry Hike

OPERATION ORDER: INFANTRY FIELD HIKE – WIESBADEN TO LIMBURG

MISSION:
Execute a two-day infantry-style hike from Wiesbaden Nassauer Hof to Limburg Central Station, conducting an overnight field bivouac in Kettenschwalbach Forest. No fixed accommodations—troops will establish a bivouac site upon arrival.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1
- Step-off: NLT Protected content ( Protected content ), Nassauer Hof, Wiesbaden [50. Protected content , 8. Protected content
- ETA Bivouac: Protected content , Kettenschwalbach Forest
- Route (29km): Nassauer Hof → Jagdschloss Platte → Neuhof → Oberlibbach → Kesselbach (supply pickup at Tegut supermarket) → Kettenschwalbach Forest (bivouac area)

DAY 2
- Step-off: Protected content , Kettenschwalbach Forest
- Objective: NLT Protected content ( Protected content ), Limburg Central Stn [50. Protected content , 8. Protected content
- Route (16km): Kettenschwalbach → Heringen → Limburg Central Stn

EQUIPMENT LIST:
- 1x Rucksack
- 1x Sleeping bag
- 1x Sleeping mat
- Weather-appropriate clothing & waterproofs
- Food, water, essential supplies

IMPORTANT:
- This is an infantry-style movement. No tents, no fixed campsite.
- Bivouac will be established upon arrival in Kettenschwalbach Forest based on terrain assessment.
- Self-sufficiency required—prepare accordingly.
