Let's celebrate the winter solstice with a mini hike to the Eppstein Christmas Market which is situated in the old town just below the old castle.
We will start hiking from Wiesbaden central station, hike in a northeasterly direction through Medenbach, a bit of forest and fields, eventually arriving in Eppstein. There, we will enjoy some mulled wine (Glühwein) and hot sausages (Bratwurst) before hopping onto the S2 train going back to Frankfurt Protected content or Wiesbaden Protected content . Please wear appropriate clothing. This is a beginner's hike.
