MACBA - 30th. Anniversary Celebration Party
On November 28th, MACBA turns thirty, and that calls for a celebration!
We are invited to an Open House cellebration event where we can enjoy the new exhibitions Projecting a Black Planet: The Art and Culture of Pan-Africa and Like a Dance of Starlings: The MACBA Collection, guided tours, and much more... until midnight!
At Internations we love art, celebrations and enjoying time together, don't we?
Looking forward to seeing you!
More about the program:
At 7 pm: Murmurs I. Cérémonials, with Jorge Dutor and Guillem Mont de Palol, opens a program of live arts, music, and performance that invites us to rediscover the festive and countercultural energy of the Cérémonials, the ephemeral collective rituals of Antoni Miralda, Dorothée Selz, Joan Rabascall, Jaume Xifra, and Benet Rossell, through an interpretation infused with humor, theatricality, and bodily experimentation.
At 8:30 pm: the party continues until midnight, with the opening of all exhibitions to the public and the presentation of Like a Dance of Starlings. MACBA Collection: Thirty Years and Infinite Ways of Being. Nearly Protected content by some 50 artists feature in an itinerary that aims to be both a tribute and a critical examination of the threads that have shaped the current museum, addressing subjectivity as a space of liberation and opening new ways of being and acting in the world.
