Peña Del Arcipreste De Hita
Let's take advantage of the nice autumn weather to hike from Cercedilla (estación de cercanías) to the Peña del Arcipreste de Hita. The route is approx. 15 km with about Protected content 'desnivel', and with mainly easy terrain (i.e. mainly pista):
As usual, remember to bring plenty of water, some food to share with the guide, and to wear/bring suitable clothing, including boots (or sturdy footwear) and waterproofs (just in case).
As for public transport, the C-8b leaves Chamartín at 10:15 and arrives in Cercedilla at 11:19. I plan on catching it when it stops at Pitis (10:25).
