Corno di Gesero: choice of challenge or relaxed
Again, with these crazy weather changes, I am posting a walk on short notice, and choosing Saturday, since Sunday has increased chances of showers in the mountains.
With its 2,227m, and its shape, Corno di Gesero is a beauty to climb, and to be on. Small challenge, great panorama.
The climb is short, only 1.5 km to the top, and 400m elevation. But some parts require shortly, using hands, a few spots might be a problem for people with vertigo, though not extreme. (contact me for more details.) The downhill part too has some steep points, but nothing that requires ropes, just caution.
The easier version, just goes around the mountain, skipping the panorama, but a pleasant walk with not much elevation difference, and mostly on good trails. Both groups meet up for picnic, and take a nice walk back.
Walk is not long.
Challenge: T3, 5.8 km, 600m uphill/downhill
Easy-medium: T2, 5.6 km, 360m uphill/downhill
