From Hinterrhein to Passo San Bernardino

Hi Walkies,

Spontaneous snowshoe hike: Found a combination of snow&sun. Since southern slopes are losing snow so rapidly, and many of you have walked up to Passo San Benardino the usual way (from the south, let's walk up from the other side, from Hinterrhein. The nothern side has more snow, and this weekend will have more sun, that the southern side. It is a longer way, so we will decide by the conditions and how we feel if we walk all the way, or just high enough to enjoy the panoramic views of Rheinwald, and back down.

We will meet at the Protected content , then drive through the tunnel to Hinterrhein, where our hike will start.

Difficulty: WT2-
Distance: Protected content .
Uphill/downhill: Protected content

Shorter option: Walk up as far as you want, then back down the same way.

Bring:
Snowshoes (ciaspole)
Poles (bastoni)
Warm clothing
Food (picnic)
Water
Smile
