Best Water Festival With Fireworks in Saitama
This fireworks is held on the first Saturday of August every year at Tamayodo-gawara on the Arakawa River. The ruins of Hachigata Castle are a nationally designated historic site and have been selected as one of the "100 Great Castles of Japan." Tamayodo-gawara, located on the north bank across the Arakawa River, is also a prefecturally designated scenic spot. Suitengu Shrine is enshrined downstream from Tamayodo, and the fireworks have been launched since Protected content the Suitengu Festival. At the Suitengu Festival, five boat floats decorated with paper lanterns and the fireworks and star mines that are launched against the backdrop of Shiroyama and the thousands of lanterns that shine on the river surface are so beautiful that they will take your breath away.
The festival is known as "the best water festival in the Kanto region."
