Czech Exhibition : the Color Blue 💙 in Contemporary Design🇨🇿

To celebrate Paris Design Week Protected content , the Czech Center in Paris is presenting a series of exhibitions exploring the color blue in contemporary textile and glass design.

"Out of the Blue" 💙

The first part of the Out of the Blue exhibition presents the work of students from the Glass workshop. Under their direction, a collection of products and objects was born, combining the excellence of glass craftsmanship, a strong artistic identity, and an emphasis on sustainability and humanity's connection to nature.

The installation reflects the expression "out of the blue" as a metaphor for surprise, an unexpected revelation, or a sudden impulse to change. It invites the visitor into an atmosphere where glass becomes the medium for an unexpected and intimate experience, like a rite of passage. The fragility and changes in the material's luminosity reflect the sensitivity of a new generation of designers whose work oscillates between object, experience, and product.
