National Folk Festival Canberra 2026
The National Folk Festival is a major annual music and arts festival held in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. It features a wide range of folk music, dance, workshops, and cultural performances, bringing together local and international artists in a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere.
We are planning on going on Friday, 3 April Protected content Friday), arriving 11am at the festival grounds. For those staying overnight there are a lot of affordable places to stay in Canberra from $100 upwards.

Tickets cost $160 and includes entry to all venues (around 14), plus access to all dance workshops. There is plenty to eat and drink throughout the showground.
