San Lorenzo de El Escorial, is a town and municipality in the Community of Madrid, Spain, located to the northwest of the region on the southeastern side of the Sierra de Guadarrama, at the foot of Abantos and Las Machotas Peaks, 47 kilometres from Madrid.
The Monastery of El Escorial (the most prominent building in the town) and a a World Heritage Site UNESCO under "El Escorial, monastery and site".
Starting time is at 10.00 from the village of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and the transportation is by car sharing
