Wimbledon Park to Buddhist Temple to Richmond to Eel Pie Island

WIMBLEDON PARK TO BUDDHIST TEMPLE TO RICHMOND PARK TO EEL PIE ISLAND
A woodlands and parks walk through London. We visit Wimbledon Park, and it's small waterfall garden and lake. We then make our way to the idyllic Buddhist temple and walk around the gardens and spend a short time inside the temple itself. We'll then traverse some idyllic woodlands into Richmond Park & onto Richmond town centre along the river.
We'll then proceed across the bridge towards Eel Pie Island, passing by Marble Hill House (where King George II kept his Mistress) and the famous naked ladies at York House and visit the Island

Buddhist Temple (Scaffolding around it, but still worth a visit)
Magical woodlands, The Pen Ponds and Spankers Wood
King Henry's Mound & The Site where Turner Painted several of his famous landscapes
Marble Hill House

Eel Pie island
Terrain: A few ups and downs but mostly flat
Distance: 10 miles Protected content approx
Pace: Medium (But a good level of fitness is required)
Time: With lunch and stops about 6 hours
There will be a toilet stop about 10 minutes into the walk. Various toilet stops along the way

Walk begins: Wimbledon Park Station (On the District Line, 1 stop from Wimbledon station). There is only one exit at the station
Walk ends: Near Twickenham Station Protected content walk)
