I have 6 free tickets to this year's Star-Spangled Spectacular by the Seattle Wind Symphony, at Benaroya Hall. The show is a celebration of community that fills the stage with energy, color, and festive music composed by a diverse array of American composers -- from local composer Ray Heraty to John Williams and John Philip Sousa. Set aside politics and observe a bit of old-fashioned American goodwill to start your holiday weekend. We'll find a spot to get coffee after the show.
