Strategies for Dealing With People Who Can Wreck Your Life

In the last session we discovered the warning behavioral signs of a malignant high conflict personality looking for a target of blame. In this session we are going to find out what to do when it’s become increasingly obvious that the person we are dealing with is one of them. We will learn the different strategies that can be implemented to protect yourself when you don’t have any choice.
We will also explore how to develop self-awareness, respond to attacks and diffuse potential conflicts in our daily professional and personal life.
Some of the take-aways from this fascinating exploration are:
• Quickly identify a potential High Conflict Personality (HCP).
• Avoid becoming a target of Blame.
• Avoid being recruited as a negative advocate.
• Effectively diffuse conflicts in your daily personal and professional life.
• How to Protect yourself from risky situations.
• Avoid becoming a victim.
• Dealing with negative advocates.
After this session you will find yourself much better equipped to safely navigate life’s tumultuous and sometimes treacherous waters.
A copy of the presentation including worksheets will be included in the post event message.
