Ismail ibn Conner is a professional actor, a credentialed sommelier, and member of the Alliance Française Board of Directors. His passion for wine and good company comes through in his passion for leading his participants to develop their curiosity and knowledge through a direct, honest approach to wine-tasting: devoid of expectations, “like a child” (over 21 years of age).

Almost as famous, and arguably less omnipresent than their Bordeaux competitors, Burgundy wines can be off-putting because of their higher price-point and the “mystery” that surrounds them. Burgundy wines, made primarily from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are appreciated for their refined elegance, flavor, and complexity, as for the mystery, well Ismail help with all of that, develop your understanding of the various styles and terroirs so you can enjoy the wines of this great region without fear or intimidation!
