Dear Cocktail Lovers,

Let's visit the Art Clubbing Event at the Protected content at the beginning of fall.

Maybe you have heard of the Point of View # 22 ?
I wanna see the "new" painting: A Resurrection on the River Arno. Ciro Ferri’s Miracle of Saint Zenobius

Sandro Botticelli also loved the theme of Saint Zenobius, so it seems to be a good idea to have a look at a the painting. And this year there seems also a special anniversary connected to the first bishop of Florence.

As some of you might know I have been several times in Florence, other regions of Italy are still missing. But I am a fan of Sandro Botticelli and his Primavera as well as his la nascita di Venere. I did not know that he also painted Saint Zenobius.

But as Zenobius is famous for his miracles, maybe that's the true reason why Botticelli's paintings became soooo incredible famous.

According to the quote of Einstein: Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous...so everything is possible :-)))

Hope to see you there,
Karin

P.S.: Saint Zenobius is said to have resurrected several dead people. It is also said that after his death, a dead elm burst into life after his body touched it while being borne to the cathedral for burial. Extraordinary miracles are attributed to him....and as we all know: Miracles happen to those who believe in them. In order to be a "realist" it always helps to believe in miracles.....
