Rooted in Earth: Drawing Strength From Fields - Chakra Series 1

In the first session of our chakra art and meditation series, we return to the beginning—our Root Chakra—the foundation of safety, belonging, and connection to the Earth.
Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s evocative paintings of haystacks and vineyards, we will explore the themes of stability, survival, and groundedness. Through a guided exploration of color, form, and feeling, you will be invited to reflect on your own roots:
•What makes you feel safe?
•Where do you draw your strength?
•What grounds you in times of change?
Using expressive drawing techniques, you’ll transform these insights into visual stories—bold, raw, and real—just like the fields Van Gogh painted with such fierce tenderness. No art experience is needed—just a willingness to feel, reflect, and create. Please bring your notebook/sketchbook and pastels, markers etc.
Come root yourself in the present moment and reconnect to your body, the land beneath your feet, and the power of creative expression.
