Checking out the Fauna and Flora of this Scenic Lake

Let's check out Lake Newport and enjoy natural vegetation, gardens and water lilies at Lake Newport. We can spot blue herons and/or geese.

This a short trail which has a bit of everything, including docks, wooded paths and amazing lake views. Most of the trail is away from the roads, but there are a few spots where you cross streets or follow a residential road. We can then walk across the street from this lake and visit lake Anne, with its own beautiful views and perhaps have refreshments afterwards.

Please give yourselves plenty of time to arrive at the meeting location. We will start the event promptly. There is parking by the tennis courts near the intersection of Baron Cameron Avenue and Browns Chapel Road. Meeting location is Protected content
