Celebrate Africa Day 2025
Africa Day is an annual celebration of the people, cultures and potential of the African continent. It is celebrated around the world, each year on the 25th of May.
Africa Day returns to Dublin’s Protected content this year as part of a nationwide programme of events to mark the day.
A flagship event will be held in Dublin’s Protected content on May 18th from 11 am to 6pm. This special flagship event is a free public event, with lots of food and fun activities.
Musicians, dancers and cultural groups from across Africa will gather to celebrate and highlight the diversity of African cultures and Ireland’s growing links with the continent.
