Cinema night: Belfast
Dear Cinema Lovers (.... and in particular Kenneth Branagh's lovers!),
Let's meet and watch "Belfast", a semi-autobiographical film, in black and white, which tells the childhood of director Branagh, played by Jude Hill, in the city of Belfast with the Northern Irish conflict in the background.
The movie already won the "Best Screenplay" award at the latest Golden Globes. It also scores 7 nomintations at the upcoming Academy Awards: best film, best director, best supporting actor, best supporting actress, best original screenplay, best sound and best song.
In short: a movie not to be missed!!
