Into the Urban Jungle
Ready to escape the city without actually leaving it? Join us for our next adventure at Parque Natural Metropolitano—the only tropical forest in Latin America located within a city's limits!
This is a fantastic opportunity to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature. We’ll be navigating the trails to reach the Mirador Los Caobos, where we’ll get a stunning view of the Panama City skyline framed by the rainforest.
The Game Plan
When: Saturday, April 25th
Meeting Time: 7:45 AM (We start the trail at 8:00 AM sharp to catch the wildlife while they're active!)
Meeting Spot: The Visitor Center / Main Entrance. Look for me—I'll have the name tags ready to go!
The Route: We’ll be taking a moderate loop. Expect some inclines and uneven terrain, but we'll keep a steady, social pace.
What to Bring
💧 Hydration: At least Protected content of water. It’s getting humid!
👟 Footwear: Sturdy sneakers or hiking boots (trails might be a bit damp).
🦟 Protection: Bug spray and sunscreen are highly recommended.
📸 Camera/Binoculars: This park is famous for sloths, Geoffroy’s tamarins (monkeys), and exotic birds.
RSVP: Please click "Attend" by Friday noon so I can prep the logistics.
Let’s hit the trails and see what we can find in the jungle!
