Guided Tour to Exhibition | Suro Ceramics
The Suro ceramic factory has its origins in Protected content Tlaquepaque, Jalisco (Mexico). It has the particularity of conjuring tradition, history and contemporary art. With its outstanding potters and the contribution of hundreds of artists, Cerámica Suro has managed to keep a tradition alive, while at the same time it has managed to insert itself into the essence of contemporary development and leave the shelves reserved for popular crafts. Suro's vision has fostered collaboration with various craft workshops in the city of Guadalajara that work with materials other than ceramics. The Suro collection is an exceptional sample of contemporary art from the late 20th century and early 21st century, where the union of a technique and the creativity of emerging and established artists can be appreciated.
