Douglas Adams called Sunday afternoons “the Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul.” Which makes Monday night at an expat event surely the Long Dark Guest List of the Soul: that stretch around 19:40 when forty-three people have clicked “Attend”, eleven have turned up, and you’ve asked “So, where are you from?” often enough to qualify as a German border official on the Trier bridge.

Our Monday night takes the sinking feeling of “the evening after the first day back at work” and turns it into a glitzy, glam, laughter-coated evening, built to set you up for the worst the week can throw at you. The venue is iconic, historic, and has seen far worse Mondays than yours.
