Enjoy the 3TM in Marburg!
After the "3 Days of Marburg" city festival officially opens with the traditional keg tapping on Friday, July 11, at approximately 6 p.m., the university town will be in a state of emergency for three days. Here you'll find out everything you need to know about the "3 Days of Marburg" city festival.
What is "3 Days Marburg"?
"3 Days Marburg" is the major city festival of the university town of Marburg. More than 100,000 visitors are expected in Marburg over three days.
What's different about "3 Days of Marburg" this year?
Due to an adapted security concept, there will be fewer stages than usual at "3 Days of Marburg" this year. However, Marburg's mayor, Dr. Thomas Spies (SPD), announced that they would like to ensure security "discreetly." "After all, it's a celebration."
Where does "3 Days of Marburg" take place?
The colorful program with "music and more" will be offered on six stages and markets throughout the city center. This year, however, for the first time, the festival will be concentrated on three main locations: the market square, the castle park, and the banks of the Lahn.
