Sailing in Winter – Holiday Edition
Let’s make the most of the holiday season and get out on the water – even if it’s cold!
You are invited to a winter sailing event where we combine fresh air, teamwork and a bit of adventure on the sea.
Because it is winter, conditions will be cold and possibly challenging. We will only sail if it is safe to do so, and we will adapt the plan to the weather on the day (wind, temperature, daylight). Safety comes first.
What to expect
Shorter trip than in summer, focused on enjoying the experience, not distance
Emphasis on safety, proper clothing and warm breaks
Time for socializing with hot drinks before/after sailing
What to bring
Very warm, layered clothing (thermal base layer, fleece, windproof/waterproof shell)
Warm hat, gloves, scarf/buff
Waterproof/warm shoes/boots if possible
A thermos with something hot (tea/coffee/cocoa)
Everyone is welcome – from experienced sailors to complete beginners – as long as you are comfortable with cold conditions and understand that the event is weather-dependent.
Make sure you mobilpay the fee Protected content to Protected content advance.
