The bright-shady world of Felix Mendelssohn
Continuing our wonderful classic music journey - we are going to dive deep into the music of one of the most brilliant and sparkling, but also intimate and intense romantic composers.
We will speak about his language, the features of his artistic work and his most important compositions, we will talk about his life and personality, and deeply get in touch with his music, the healthiest musical expression of early Romanticism.
Giacomo is our host 26-years-old Italian classical violinist and music teacher >> during and after my graduation in conservatory in Como I attended for years the history of music courses held by the well-known professor Alberto Batisti (one of the most important Italian music historians), where I learnt to look at music as a piece of culture, and experienced the communication of the joy and the wonder born by a greater understanding and immersion into it.
I have been working for more than a year in the diffusion of a good and solid knowledge of classical music without demanding any base preparation from my audience, teaching its history and how to listen with greater awareness and enjoyment.
Sounds so very inspiring to me !
Looking Forward !
