A tribute to Argentina’s great composer – with an Argentine wine tasting
Kateryna MOVCHAN (flute), Danica ŠKREBLIN (guitar)
The Duo Dhatu, comprising the Ukrainian flautist Kateryna Movchan and the Croatian guitarist Danica Škreblin, presents a programme entirely dedicated to the Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla Protected content . The two award-winning musicians met whilst studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and have since established themselves as a regular ensemble in Austria.
Astor Piazzolla was a revolutionary figure in 20th-century music. With his ‘Tango Nuevo’ style, he blended traditional tango with elements of classical music and jazz.
