St. Peter’s Island Tour: Boat, Walk, Picnic & Vineyard Tasting
Dear Wine Friends,
Pack a picnic lunch to share and join us on Saturday, 16 August for a free wine tasting and leisure tour of St. Peter’s Island in Lake Biel. – Known for its vineyards and rich history, the Island offers a beautiful setting shaped by its mild climate. It has been a site of historical significance, from prehistoric settlements to a refuge for the Geneva writer, philosopher and social critic Jean-Jacques Rousseau. – After a lakeside picnic, we'll enjoy unique wines from the Three Lakes Region, followed by a tour of the island. IMPORTANT: Registration with the winery for the wine tasting is necessary.
IMPORTANT:
–The vineyard tasting is only with a confirmed registration
–Bring something to sit on, and your own utensils for the picnic (and your swimsuit if you wish to take a dip.
–You can buy something for the picnic at the self-service bistro.
