Do We Have Responsibilities to Nature and Future Generations?
How far does our responsibility extend — to other species, to the planet itself, or to people not yet born? This session explores the moral choices behind sustainability, consumption, and our legacy to the future.
Join us for a conversation that blends philosophy with everyday decisions — from climate action and resource use to the ethics of progress. Expect a lively mix of perspectives from different cultures and professions.
Come with an open mind, and maybe one example of a choice you’ve made (or refused to make) for environmental reasons.
For newcomers, this is our format: we explore a topic in small groups of maximum 8 people, guided by a moderator. We're not a debate group, we use the group to hopefully come to new insights, we're not trying to reach consensus, there no right and wrong here.
We start to gather at 3:30pm, grab a drink and mingle. The discussion groups start at 4:00 pm sharp.
