La Dolce Nizza is a black-and-white ode to a sun-drenched, sensual city where women laugh, dance, & play out the drama of life as if in an old movie. The scenes captured by Italian photographer Claudia Bevilacqua are neither vintage advertisements nor fashion shoots, but moments playfully orchestrated to celebrate the *joie de vivre* unique to Nice. A sense of freedom hangs in the air.

These photos embody what drives her vision: a sense of joyful theatricality, a cinematic aesthetic, and genuine tenderness for the women she photographs.

Then came a day in Protected content , sitting at a café in Paris, she shared a few snapshots with the person at the next table: Gérard Holtz. Captivated, the journalist encouraged her to pursue this path & urged her to exhibit her work. Things took off from there. Since then, Claudia has never stopped exploring.

That same humanistic perspective runs through every one of her projects.

She discovered Nice in Protected content . Here, *la dolce vita* doesn't need to be invented; it is everywhere—in the pastel shutters, the scents of the markets, & the light gliding across the facades. She decided to settle there, just steps away from Cours Saleya. It was love at first sight—artistically speaking.
