Some culture for you at the beginning of the new year?
Delve into history and art at the Protected content this January. Planned is a leisurely exploration of the museum's extended permanent collection. The new edition focuses on the lives and works of local figures from the late 18th and 19th centuries, including Mia Münster herself, pastel painter Nikolaus Lauer, composer Philipp Jakob Riotte, Duchess Luise of Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld, and the city's namesake, Saint Wendelin.
Spanning Protected content meters, the redesigned exhibition space offers a glimpse into the town of St. Wendel's history and we get to explore the stories of the above-mentioned local personalities. It's a worthwhile outing that promises a mix of history and culture - and if you fancy - a drink afterward (cost according to what you consume).
I hope you can make it!
