Symphony on the Shore, Music under the Stars 2026
Enjoy a free open-air symphonic concert by the sea as the Gran Teatre del Liceu Orchestra transforms Sant Sebastià Beach into a grand stage for orchestral music. Let the sound of a full symphony rise from the shoreline as Josep Pons conducts "Liceu Simfònic, música per a tothom", a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Petit Liceu.
As part of Clàssica a la Platja, this special evening brings together some of the most beloved works in the classical repertoire, including pieces by Brahms, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, Borodin, Manuel de Falla, Ginastera, and Ravel’s "Boléro", offering a powerful and accessible musical experience for all audiences.
The concert starts at 21h, but we’ll meet beforehand for a drink at a nearby bar, starting around 19:30. Bring my number with you to ensure we find each other. Come early, enjoy the sea breeze, and let’s share a toast before the music begins.
