Marvio Ciribelli Orchestra Mini debuts at Beco das Garrafas (Copacabana) with the best of Brazilian Jazz and Samba-Jazz

For those who like Brazilian Jazz (Samba-Jazz, Bossa Nova), next Sunday, December 7th, pianist Marvio Ciribelli will be playing at Beco das Garrafas, performing songs like Cascavel (Antônio Adolfo), Bom de Tocar (Ricardo Silveira), Lôro (Egberto Gismonti), Bebê and Chorinho pra Ele (Hermeto Pascoal), The Dolphin (Luizinho Eça), Partido Alto (Azymuth), Pintando o Sete (Giovanni Bizzotto), A Escola e a Bola (Hamilton de Holanda), in addition to his own compositions, Mantra, Centroavante, Nazareth na Confraria and Sans Souci (a collaboration with Giovanni Bizzotto).

Marvio Ciribelli will host American saxophonist Tom Bergeron, who has played with names like Ella Fitzgerald, Robert Cray, Nathalie Cole, and the group The Temptations.

Playing with Marvio and Tom will be bassist Alex Rocha and drummer Lucca Machado.

Ciribelli has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Java Jazz (Indonesia), Adelaide Fringe (Australia), Jazz Plaza (Cuba), Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues (Brazil), and recently at the Blue Note (Rio).

It's worth noting that Ciribelli recorded and produced an album with the Dutch group Focus (with Thijs van Leer and Pierre van der Linden) and has a label with 18 albums recorded.
