Luau & Campout in the Countryside of Goiás

Dear InterNations friends,

This October, let’s escape the city and spend a magical weekend together in the beautiful countryside of Goiás!

We’ll meet at Posto Tabocão VII at the entrance of Nerópolis at 14:30 and head to BASE in a convoy. If you can only join us later, please let us know so we can help you getting there.

As the day unfolds, we’ll relax in nature, explore the area, and get to know each other better. When evening arrives, we’ll turn up the atmosphere with a luau under the stars:
•Campfire
•All-day BBQ
•A festive luau vibe in the heart of nature
•Stargazing and enjoying the countryside night

For those who’d like the full experience, you can stay overnight. Tents will already be set up at the camp, so you only need to bring your personal items.

On Sunday morning at 6:00, Renan will lead us on a birdwatching walk, watching the sunrise while discovering the local wildlife.

Although lighter clothes are good, try wearing pants, closed shoes, long sleeves and hats. That can help against ants, termites, mosquitoes, flies, sun and such.

Food & Sharing
This is a bring-your-own event, but if you’d like to bring extra food or drinks to share with the group, that’s wonderful!
