Saturday Night Football, Pizza & Beer: Goiás EC Vs. Ceará!

Dear InterNations Goiânia members and friends!

At InterNations, we’re open to all nationalities, cultures, religions… even different football loyalties.

So instead of heading to OBA and supporting Vila, this time we’ll experience football from the other side of Goiânia as we watch Goiás Esporte Clube take on Ceará Sporting Club on Saturday, July 4th at 20:00.

Founded in Protected content , Goiás EC is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Central Brazil. Known as the Verdão, the club has won countless state championships and has represented Goiás in Série A, international competitions such as the Copa Sudamericana, and many memorable national campaigns.

Pre-Game Meetup:
Before the match, we’ll meet at Pizzeria Austria at 18:00 to enjoy some pizza and cold beers together before heading to the stadium.

Tickets:
Tickets can be bought either online or directly at the stadium.
Please note that for online purchases, you’ll have to register your face beforehand due to the stadium’s facial recognition access system.

Important Safety Note:
Please do not wear a Vila Nova jersey to this game. Seriously.
InterNations promotes intercultural understanding, but local football rivalries are very, very different - and if you try walking to the stadium in a Vila shirt, there’s a good chance you won’t actually make it there. Or back.

Buying a Goias jersey is a good idea, wearing neutral colors or green is absolutely fine.
