Bilingual Hopscotch: A Night of Linguistic Play

Forget everything you know about standard language exchanges. We aren’t here to sit in a circle and recite "Hi. My name is.. What’s yours?" On Thursday, May 21, we are taking over the beautiful ITM Campus Robledo for a night where fluency is a game and "The Hopscotch" is our roadmap to connection.

In this activity, the hopscotch is our metaphor: a guided journey where each "square" is a new level of social interaction and a fresh challenge for your brain.

The "Grid": How We’ll Play

Under the direction of expert facilitators, we will "hop" through three distinct phases of language and logic:

The Safe Square (Warm-up): Simple, fast-paced icebreakers designed to get your tongue moving in both Spanish and English. We’ll find common ground before we start the "jumps."

The Double-Step (Balance): This is where the exchange gets real. We’ll engage in collaborative challenges that require you to "lean" on your teammates, switching languages mid-sentence to solve puzzles and keep the momentum going.

The Sky Square (Flow): The final leap! We move into high-energy group games where the goal isn't perfection, but performance. Use everything you’ve got to communicate, laugh, and win.
