We're starting July on one of the most scenic flat trails near Quito. 🌿
El Chaquiñán runs through the eastern valley with beautiful views of Volcán Ilaló — we're doing Portal Pinsha to Portal La Polla de Oro and back, about 6km round trip, max 2 hours. All flat, all dirt trail. Perfect for first-timers and a lovely reset for regulars. ⛰️✨
A heads up: mountain bikers share the trail at several crossing points, so we stay aware and move together.
Getting there: shared taxi recommended. Parking details TBD — will update Friday PM.
Bring: water, snack, comfortable shoes, transport cash.
