Lotus Lantern Festival
This year I thought we could not just watch the parade but also "roll up our sleeves" and make lanterns, how about that?

We are inviting both citizens and foreigners to participate in the Lotus Lantern Festival, a national intangible cultural heritage and UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Gathering Place: Jongno-gu, in front of Jongmyo Shrine
Participants: Citizens and foreigners who wish to participate in the lantern parade Protected content on a first-come, first-served basis)
Activities:
Making parade lanterns (chorong-deung)
Lantern parade (Jongmyo - Jogyesa Temple) (Lotus Lantern making will be conducted in time slots, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.)"
