IMPORTANT: I will not open up this event for members to sign up until they first purchase the ticket and then send me a confirmation message in the comments section below that they have purchased their ticket. I will confirm their names with the ticket seller showpass about a few days before the event date and will add them in the attendee list here only after their names are confirmed as ticket purchasers.
This decision was taken due to bitter past experiences where members were found to be signing up in the events but 80 to 90 percent are not showing up which causes us embarrassments as hosts since we have to account for the reserved seats and also the business venues suffer for lost revenues which is not fair to either.

Celedonio Garrido, a wonderful Andalusian flamenco singer born and steeped in the flamenco neighbourhoods of Huelva, Spain, is visiting Calgary this May. He will bring his deep knowledge and execution of the traditional flamenco song forms to participate in a very special night.

Flamenco is the passionate musical art form of Andalusia, the southern region of Spain where gypsy culture has mixed with Moorish and Spanish folkloric culture. Flamenco is the marriage of the singer’s voice to the percussive and emotive guitar..continued in comments.
