Pioneer Day Celebration & Rodeo!

There's nothing more Utah than Pioneer Day! It is a state holiday!! This year it is Friday, so let's check out the Pioneer Day Celebrations & the Rodeo! Protected content . This is one of the top 5 outdoor Rodeos in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

There is a daytime portion that is optional and an evening portion that requires a ticket. They have assigned seats, so we need to purchase our grandstand tickets together. Let's give it this week, then buy all our seats as a group. We want to sit by Section A or P by the Bull Pit.

Daytime is free, starts at 9am, goes for about 2.5 hours and has events like Slack - Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down, Breakaway...

Evening is the PRCA Professional Rodeo. Gates open at 5:30pm, event starts at 6:30pm. There will be a drone show/firework show at the end, around 9:30pm-10pm. Tickets are about $28.90. Location: Spencer Fox Eccles Pioneer Stadium, Ogden UT
It is right on the Ogden Riverwalk, so there's a nice place to walk and see the river. Parking is free on the street. Be sure to wear your cowboy hat!! Bring a seat cushion if you have one.
