A 15 Km Walk From Vulaines Sur Seine Samoreau to Bois Le Roi

Let us walk alorg the Seine river!

We will start in Samoreau and we will finish in Bois le Roi.

Good walking shoes are required.

Please bring a picnic and a lot of drinking water.

We will take our suburban train R at the Gare de Lyon station (it normally leaves from one of the tracks from J to N, but you have to double-check it on the departure date). The train will leave the station at 10:16, it will be in the direction of Montargis. You will have to change in Melun and take another train in the direction of Montigny. Please then get off in Vulaines sur Seine Samoreau.

We will mostly walk along the Seine river. The landscapes there are really marvellous!

We could either meet inside the train at 10:16 am - I will be in the upfront carriage departure-wise - or we could also meet directly on the platform in Vulaines sur Seine Samoreau at 11:06 am

Please plan your trip carefully: there a lot of renovation works in Paris in summer, and a lot of metro/train lines are currently closed. If you miss the 10:16 am train, I am afraid you will not be able to catch up with us, as the next one will be only 1 hour later.
