Day 1 – Friday | 23rd January

* Morning flight from Addis Ababa to Semera
* Arrival and meet local guide & crew
* Transfer by **4WD** to Afar Depression
* Lunch en route
* Continue drive to Erta Ale base camp
* Evening hike to Erta Ale crater
* Visit the lava lake (night viewing)
* Overnight camping near the crater

Day 2 – Saturday | 24th January

* Sunrise at Erta Ale
* Breakfast at camp
* Short walks and exploration around the volcano
* Drive by 4WD to next campsite
* Dinner and overnight camping

Day 3 – Sunday | 25th January

* Early breakfast
* Drive back to Semera by 4WD
* Lunch in Semera
* Afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa
* End of trip
